Turmeric is the perfect winter spice.
.
The last few days have been pretty grey and wet. You can feel the heaviness that winter brings.
.
Turmeric, with its dry, heating qualities will balance the cold, moist, stagnant qualities of winter....and Kapha dosha, which shares theses qualities.
.
Aggravated Kapha dosha can lead to a build up of heaviness an mucous in the chest, leading to chest infection, coughs and colds.
.
We’ve developed some winter turmeric recipes that are great for each dosha. We know that turmeric possesses powerful health giving properties. Ayurveda teaches us how to use it.
.
You can find all the recipes in our blog. Link is in the bio.
.
..and, of course, our beautiful turmeric clock by @concrete__candy
