Lotus was founded by Clare Bannister in 2012.

Lotus offers an Ayurvedic approach to health and wellbeing with a focus on activity, diet and nutrition and therapies to suit you. Ayurveda is a tried and tested, common sense approach to living well; staying in balance and in harmony with your environment. We understand you are an individual and your diet, lifestyle, exercise and activity preferences are unique to you.

All our activities, therapies and treatments are designed to suit you and make you feel better both inside and out.  We offer a range of physical activities including Yoga, Mat and Reformer Pilates classes and 1-1 sessions to suit all levels.

We provide diet and nutritional therapy and workshops, to support optimal health and; Ayurvedic massage therapy for treatment of common ailments and relaxation time for you.

Whatever stage of life you are in, Lotus will support you and help you feel physically and emotionally well and become the best version of yourself.

Lotus Health and Fitness

A look back at our wonderful weekend at Potash Barns. Words cannot describe how incredibly fortunate I feel to have shared the weekend with all these wonderful women.

We spent the weekend practicing Yoga. Exploring, how through the principles of Ayurveda, we can practice in a way which can balance the Doshas - invigorate when we need to boost our internal fire (Agni) cool us down emotionally and physically when our fire is too hot or ground us when we feel we are living too much in our head.

Most importantly everyone had time to make some space just to be, giving the body and the mind exactly what it needs, which was different for everyone.

Deliciously nourishing food, prepared with love. A therapeutic (and very indulgent) 2 hour Ayurvedic Massage....how did everyone feel at the end of the weekend? Relaxed, nourished, happy, grateful, loved....different. I’m sure there’s far more words which can describe everyone’s emotions, but what is clear, we all need to make some space to enjoy what’s going on around us. Be aware, enjoy every moment, don’t sweat the small stuff, life’s too short. Don’t let it pass you by.
