Complete the quiz by marking a X in box 1,2 or 3 to indicate which description fits you best.
Firstly, base your choices on what is most consistently true about your life over many years. Then complete it again based on how you are feeling now (or when you may be feeling imbalanced – physically or mentally).
This could present as a mental imbalance – stressed, anxious, insecure, angry etc., or as a physical imbalance – lethargy, allergies, poor digestion – bloating, wind, constipation, weight gain etc.
It often helps to have a partner or good friend verify your answers. You will not completely agree with all the statements in the boxes, so just go with what you feel applies to you most.
As stated in the ‘Ayurveda – The Science of Life’ article we are all made up of a combination of the 3 doshas – Vata (1), Pitta (2) and Kapha (3).
There is no right or wrong,  good or bad answers. Try not to make these conclusions as you complete the chart.
When you have complete the chart add up the ‘X’s in each column to give an indication of our constitution or Doshic type. Although an Ayurvedic practitioner would also use other methods  to determining, more accurately, your type, this is a pretty good starting point to refer. It will help you understand which foods suit your Ayurvedic type more.

When you have completed the Constitution Chart you can read more about ‘Eating Right for your Ayurvedic Type’ here
