Grilled or baked fruit makes an excellent breakfast for Kapha

Kapha does well on a less substantial breakfast if the appetite isn’t substantial. The natural sugars in the pineapple will caramelise during grilling.

Black pepper is warming and stimulating, perfect for giving the potentially sluggish metabolism of Kapha a morning boost.

The how to:

  • It couldn’t be simpler – peel, slice and grill the pineapple.
  • After grilling add a grind of black pepper or long pepper (pipli) if you have it.
